BAGUIO CITY – Local police authorities warned the public on the continuous sale of illegal vape products in the city following the successful entrapment and arrest of a 28-year old suspect along Harrison road for violation of Ordinance No. 34, series of 2017 or the Smoke Free Baguio measure which is currently being strictly implemented in the country’s Summer Capital.

The Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) extended its full support to the city’s Smoke Free Task Force in the implementation of the said operation leading to the arrest of the illegal vape vendor and the confiscation of approximately 600 vapes and some 140 assorted vape batteries with a market value of more than P600,000.

BCPO City Director Ruel D. Tagel said that the successful operation highlights the importance of multi-sectoral coordination in enforcing various laws, rules and regulations.
